Chocolate Tia

Tia our beautiful chocolate girl.

Well it’s true, you just can’t have one Havanese.

After researching chocolate Havanese for over 2 years and speaking to many chocolate Havanese breeders, I finally got my silky coat type and chocolate/brown coat color. Tia came to us from Cottonwood Havanese in Delta Colorado USA. She was born on Jan 29, 2008 and arrived home by airplane on April 5^th 2008, she has been a delight ever since. Jaeda has a buddy now and Tia and Jaeda love each other. Tia is a true chocolate Havanese, she has the correct dark chocolate/brown pigment, nose, eye rims, lips and pads of her feet. She has a silky dark chocolate/brown and white parti coat and she has the hazel/greenish eye color. When she was born her coat color was so dark brown it looked black. Tia has kept her dark chocolate/brown coat color, it will not fade out, as Tia comes from lines that are know to keep their dark chocolate/brown coloring. Tia is on the larger size, she weighs around 17 lbs and measures slightly higher than the standard at 11 ½ inches. She is stocky and heavier boned. She has a wonderfully personality, not quite as independent as Jaeda, Tia loves to sit in my lap and cuddle. Tia is AKC and CKC registered.

I am planning a breeding with Tia late fall of 2009. I will be breeding Tia with a smaller male in hopes to bring down the size. I am researching males for a chocolate male or chocolate carrier, it order to produce chocolate puppies.
